Prime Day 2022 marked the biggest two days ever for Australian selling partners, many of whom are small and medium businesses on Amazon.com.au

We were delighted to see that Prime Day 2022 marked the biggest two days ever for Australian selling partners, many of whom are small and medium businesses on Amazon.com.au.

It takes a lot to run a small business, but partnering with Amazon allows sellers to benefit from Amazon’s scale.

We invest in the success of entrepreneurs, and small businesses selling in our Amazon Australia Store. When they thrive, our customers benefit from the products they offer.

With Fulfilment by Amazon, sellers can focus on their own brand and products rather than on logistics, fulfilment, customer service, and the many other sometimes-exhausting aspects of business ownership. Sellers can reach our customers and leverage our operations, cost efficiencies, tools, and services to help them grow faster.

We spoke to a couple of inspiring small business sellers on Amazon who recap their Prime Day 2022.

  • Orbitkey – Melbourne, Victoria
    Making organisation stylish

The Melbourne-based small business began in 2013 when the two founders, Charles Ng and Rex Kuo developed a product to deal with a typically noisy and messy bunch of keys and convinced 5,000 people to crowdfund its development.

Since then, their products have helped “people live better lives through clever and innovative organisational solutions” around the world with the business now boasting 40 staff to help keep up with demand.

Of Prime Day 2022, spokesperson, Anthony Lane said, “This was our 4th Prime Day and it was our biggest one yet. We sold $65,000 worth of our stock which is more than we would normally do in an average month, so we were very happy.”

“The inventory management, fulfilment, and customer service provided by Fulfilment by Amazon helps us focus on the different aspects of our business. We know our products are picked, packed and shipped in a timely manner. Because the faster we can get our product into the hands of our customers the faster our small business can grow. We can’t wait for Prime Day next year!”
