Prime Day is one of the biggest shopping events of the year, exclusively for Prime members. Over the course of two days Australian Prime members shopped deals across the Amazon store making day one of the event the single largest sales day ever on amazon.com.au making it the biggest Prime Day event on record.

Prime Day best-sellers

The best performing categories in terms of units sold were health and personal care, grocery, beauty, home and electronics.

Apple electronics and Bose headphones were just some of the items shoppers couldn’t get enough of and Prime members in Australia also stocked up on Amazon devices, including Echo Smart Speakers and Fire TV. See below for some of the best performing deals:

Prime members also saved big on fashion, with Bonds, Tommy Hilfiger, Crocs and Lacoste amongst the most popular deals within the category. Prime Members also made the most of pantry staples and essentials, with the best-selling products including Cocobella coconut water, Bonsoy Original milk, Scrub Daddy cleaning products and Red Bull energy drinks.

Some of the best performing small businesses included UGG 1978 and Bondi Boost; and Launchpad brands Koh and Bae Juice.
