Amazon has been included on LinkedIn’s Top Companies list—an annual list that identifies the most sought-after places to work and grow your career in Australia. Using data from LinkedIn’s one billion members in more than 200 countries and territories worldwide, LinkedIn’s Top Companies list is designed to help professionals identify the best companies to grow their careers.
Keira Daley, Senior Program Manager at Alexa, explains she had never worked in product management before joining Amazon five years ago, “One of the great things about working at Amazon is I learn how to do things I’ve never done before,” says Kiera Daley.
Amazon has taught Keira to look outside her comfort zone, and she urges anyone considering a career path to focus on the transferrable skills you can develop in a given role. “This whole field I work in didn’t even exist 10 years ago, and I love that there is a lot of variety to my role,” she says.
Last year, Amazon created an additional 600 permanent jobs across Amazon Australia’s operations sites with employees enjoying competitive benefits, opportunities for career growth and mentoring programs such as; Stepping Up To Leadership, National Association of Women in Operations (NAWO) and Career Choice.
