It’s our latest innovation to offer Prime members even greater value and a more convenient shopping experience to make life easier every day—one made possible by building fulfilment centres and delivery stations close to where our customers live and work. This means packages travel shorter distances, which enables us to speed up delivery.
Here’s what you need to know to take advantage of the new service in these cities.
How do I get Prime FREE One-Day Delivery in Brisbane, Geelong, Gosford, Newcastle or Wollongong?
You need to be a Prime member ordering eligible items and shipping to an eligible postcode. To sign up for a Prime membership, visit amazon.com.au/prime. Membership is $9.99/month or $79/year if you pay annually.

Is there a minimum spend to get Prime FREE One-Day Delivery?
Prime FREE One-Day Delivery is available on eligible items with no minimum spend.
What items are eligible for Prime FREE One-Day Delivery?
More than one million products across categories—including pantry staples, household and personal care, electronics, books, beauty items, and more—are eligible. These items can be identified by the ‘Prime FREE One-Day’ or ‘Prime One-Day’ icon on the product page.
What’s the order cut-off time?
As late as midnight; just look for the One-Day Delivery cut-off time on the product page.
What time will my order arrive the next day?
All eligible orders will be delivered by 9pm the next day.
What if I’m not in an eligible postcode but I live in Brisbane, Geelong, Gosford, Newcastle or Wollongong?
While Prime FREE One-Day Delivery is available to most areas in these cities, Amazon Prime members who aren’t in an eligible postcode will still benefit from free delivery in as fast as two days on eligible orders. Over the coming months, we aim to expand eligible delivery areas and product selection to give Aussie Prime members access to even more products, faster.
What else will I have access to if I join Prime to get access to Prime FREE One-Day Delivery?
