Prime Video is proud to announce that its Australian Prime Original series The Narrow Road to the Deep North, Deadloch Season 2 and Top End Bub have received a record 11 nominations ahead of the 66th Annual TV Week Logie Awards, cementing its place as the most nominated streaming service for the awards in 2026. The recognition highlights Prime Video's ongoing commitment to championing distinctive Australian stories and world-class local talent.
 
Prestigious drama series The Narrow Road to the Deep North, produced by Curio Pictures, directed by Justin Kurzel and written by Shaun Grant, leads with six nominations, including Best Miniseries and Best Lead Actor in a Drama. The series adaptation of Richard Flanagan’s Booker Prize–winning novel won nine AACTAs at the 2026 AACTAs including Best Actor for Jacob Elordi, and Best Supporting Actress for Heather Mitchell. Elordi also received a 2026 Golden Globe nomination for Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Limited Series. The full list of nominations for The Narrow Road to the Deep North are:

The second season of the global hit series Deadloch received four nominations. Created by the comedy powerhouse duo Kate McCartney and Kate McLennan, the series’ brilliance lies in its fearless satirical edge, wielding humour as a scalpel to dissect gender dynamics, identity, racism, and policing; transforming uncomfortable truths into compulsively watchable entertainment. The series is a follow-up to the acclaimed 2019 film, Top End Wedding, and reimagines a typical family comedy through a distinctly First Nations lens; resulting in a story both culturally specific and universally relatable.

Deadloch Season 2

Deadloch Season 2 is a six-part crime comedy set in Australia’s sweltering Top End, aka the Northern Territory. Detectives Dulcie Collins (Kate Box) and Eddie Redcliffe (Madeleine Sami) are in Darwin to investigate the death of Eddie’s former policing partner Bushy. However, their plans are soon diverted when a body part is discovered in a remote town called Barra Creek. With the Northern Territory police force focused on a large-scale search for two missing backpackers, Dulcie and a very reluctant Eddie are tasked with identifying the John Doe.
 
Deadloch Season 2 is created and written by Kate McCartney and Kate McLennan who also serve as executive producers alongside Kevin Whyte, Tanya Phegan and Ben Grogan from Guesswork Television. Andy Walker is the producer, and the series is directed by Beck Cole and Gracie Otto. Deadloch is produced by Guesswork Television, OK Great Productions and Amazon MGM Studios.

Prime Video has debuted the official trailer for the highly anticipated Australian Amazon Original series Top End Bub, launching on Prime Video in Australia and New Zealand on September 12.

A TV series follow-up to the 2019 box office smash hit Top End Wedding, Top End Bub is a heart-warming eight-part series that sees Miranda Tapsell (Love Child, The Sapphires, The Artful Dodger) and Gwilym Lee (Bohemian Rhapsody, The Great) reprise their roles as Lauren and Ned.
 
Lauren and Ned are living their best lives in the city, which is tragically interrupted when Lauren’s sister Ronelle dies in a car crash in the Top End. Rushing back to Darwin, Lauren and Ned are thrown into the chaos of Top End life with Lauren’s parents, Daffy and Trevor, and confronted with another curveball when they unexpectedly become the guardians of Ronelle’s lively and cheeky young daughter, Taya.

The series is created, written and executive produced by Miranda Tapsell and Joshua Tyler and produced by Goalpost Pictures.
