Customer safety has always been a top priority for Amazon, and we are proud to be one of the founding signatories to a new Australia Competition and Consumer Commission Product Safety Pledge.

The twelve agreed areas of focus of the pledge parallel our own longstanding commitment to improve the safety of our customers. In 2019 alone, we invested more than USD$500M to protect our stores and customers globally from fraud and from non-compliant or unsafe products, and our robust programs are designed to ensure products offered for sale in our store are safe and compliant.
