At Amazon, we are proud to participate in many community initiatives—whether through product donations, supporting local not-for-profits, or volunteering our time in the community.

In September, the team participated in Amazon Goes Gold, which supports kids with cancer by driving awareness around this issue and raising funds.

Amazon’s two fulfilment centres in Sydney and Melbourne raised funds for local hospitals. Team members from each fulfilment centre presented $6,000 in donations to the Cancer Centre for Children at The Children’s Hospital, Westmead in Sydney, and the Children’s Cancer Centre at the Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne.

Thank you so much to the team at Amazon for raising more than $6,000 for the Children’s Cancer Centre at The Royal Children’s Hospital. This generous donation will support sick children and their families as they face the unthinkable challenge of battling childhood cancer.
